Is there a reason why the SHIFT ENTER key shortkut to end editing is disabled while drawing?

  

Start a wave, add a new bit of space in the wave (like you're gonna add some text), click the "..." area (top right), click on the puzzle piece, add the address of the gadget (http://my-wave-gadgets.appspot.com/wave/NapkinGadget.xml). That should work for yah...

how to add it to wave?  

wave-->debuger--extensions->add a gadget ,all right ?
